The Battle of Uhud is the second most essential battle in early Islamic history. According to the Islamic calendar, it was fought on the 3rd Shawwal 3 AH. The Uhud war took place in the valley of Mount Uhud near Madinah. In the battle, Muslims in the Prophet Muhammad’s  (ﷺ)  army defended themselves against the raiding Quraish army.  The Muslims had an initial edge under the leadership of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). However, they lost to the enemy for leaving their posts and celebrating the victory too early.
